Thanks to Terry Wright for the report
Sunday 13.5.18 Temp 14’-16’ & sunny. Wind N W 3-6 mph with the odd gust and plenty of shifts. 11 skippers using A+ rigs & 1 with A . We managed 8 races on a very slow going day.
The course was set to start between 8&9, T @12, T &9 , repeated twice & finish between 12 & bank.
It was great to see John & Cathy with John managing a few races from his chair ( everyone dead chuffed to see him back on the water)
We also had a guest on the day , Dave Sellens gave up his boat to let him have a crack and Malcom helped entertain him .
Back on the water Steve bines one the day on 15 points ( a big well done to Steve), Jim La Rouch was a close 2nd on 16 points and Terry Wright 3rd on 21 points courtesy of 2 wins over Geoff Appleton also on 21.
It was good to see so many skippers after what seemed to be an endless winter , let’s keep the numbers flowing
